Three strands, one career: business systems, software engineering, and video and 3D animation going back to 1997. Written-up case studies are still coming; the names and the shape of the work are real now.
On what is not here yet. Individual project write-ups have not been published. Rather than fill the gap with plausible-sounding case studies, this page gives the clients, the technologies and the outcomes that are confirmed, and stops there. If you want the detail behind any one of them, ask directly.
Business systems
Videos, custom business systems, websites, marketing plans, 3D animations, ad campaigns, sales-center kiosks, displays and signs. The through-line is systems a business actually runs on, rather than systems that demonstrate well.
Where that has landed
ERP and business platforms
Built Direct to Policy Holder from the ground up - a custom InsureTech ERP and insurance-management platform for TDG, a small insurance brokerage, which became core to the business and part of why it was acquired by A.J. Gallagher, a Fortune 300 company (2013-2021). Earlier, a custom ERP, inventory-allocation system and data-sharing utilities across 57 retail stores for Riddle's Jewelry (2010-2013).
Data and integrations
ETL pipeline design, SAP and Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations, custom API integrations, MySQL, PostgreSQL and BigQuery - currently applied in a full-time cloud engineering role centralizing marketing and transactional data.
Software engineering
Cloud architecture and hands-on engineering, including where AI genuinely helps and where it does not. Named a Jacksonville Business Journal Technology Leader of the Year in 2020.
What that covers
Cloud and infrastructure
Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Data Labs), AWS, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD - currently architecting ETL pipelines that centralize marketing and transactional data.
Application engineering
Java/Spring Boot, Angular/TypeScript, Python, PHP/Symfony, .NET/C#, REST and SOAP APIs. Direct to Policy Holder was built on this stack, and there is current lead-contributor work on a high-traffic e-commerce platform.
Compliance and secure delivery
PCI compliance enforcement, authorship of a corporate Data Protection Plan, secure DevOps pipelines, automated testing and WCAG accessibility.
AI-assisted engineering, applied
Claude, Gemini, Cursor and Codex used for prototyping, refactoring and developer productivity. A working practice, not a research track.

A working reference and tools site covering 157 technical subcategories - code snippets, conversions, cheat sheets and practical utilities. This site points at it rather than restating it; that is where the day-to-day technical writing lives.
This site's own build pipeline
The project this page is built with is itself a real engineering artifact: a shared block schema and design-token contract across several sites, a build and deploy pipeline with automated quality gates, and a per-site theme system. It can be described honestly here because it is the pipeline that built this page.
Video and 3D animation
Shooting, producing and editing for broadcast, cable and the web since 1997 - starting in the door of a helicopter over Germany and running through two TV stations, an agency of his own, and national publications.
The work has almost always been from behind the camera: directing, producing live interviews, and caring more about lighting and audio than about being in frame.

Florida Sports Broadcasting, Elite Beauty Society and NACAMS were served through one umbrella company Aaron worked for full time; freelance relationships continued with several of them afterwards. Earlier-career clients - WCI Communities, Publix, Lee Memorial Health System, David Weekley Homes, U.S. Homes and Bonita Bay Properties - are twenty years back and listed for completeness rather than as current evidence.
