Privacy
What this site collects, and what happens to it.
Short, because the site does little. There is a contact form, there are anonymous visit statistics, and there is no advertising.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, it collects your name, your email address, your message, and which page you started from. That last one is so a reply knows what you were reading.
Two fields exist that you never see: a hidden field a person leaves empty and a robot fills in, and the time the page was drawn. Both are there to refuse automated spam, and neither is about you.
What happens to it: it is stored on this site's own hosting and emailed to me. It is not sent to a marketing platform, added to a mailing list, or shared with anyone. I reply, and that is the whole of it.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. It is configured to record no advertising identifiers, and I do not use it to build a profile of anyone.
If you would rather not be counted, any content blocker or the browser's Do Not Track setting will do it, and nothing on the site behaves differently as a result.
What this site does not do
- No advertising. No ad network, no ad cookies, nothing sold on this site at all. The build refuses to ship if that changes without this page changing with it.
- No cookie banner, because the site sets no cookies of its own to ask you about.
- No newsletter and no tracking pixels. Nothing here is trying to follow you off the page.
Videos are embedded from YouTube and load only when you click one, so YouTube learns nothing about you unless you choose to play something. At that point their terms apply rather than mine.
Asking me about your data
Ask, and I will tell you what I hold or delete it. There is not much: if you have never used the contact form, I hold nothing that identifies you.
